Jednoduch\u00e9 a&nbsp;velmi \u010dasto na aktu\u00e1ln\u00ed t\u00e9ma dne zam\u011b\u0159en\u00e9 p\u00edsni\u010dky, z\u00a0nich\u017e si poslucha\u010di pamatovali hlavn\u011b opakuj\u00edc\u00ed se refr\u00e9n. Karel Ha\u0161ler psal kuplety \u010dasto a&nbsp;s\u00a0jemu vlastn\u00ed ironi\u00ed parodoval a&nbsp;satiricky komentoval kdeco a&nbsp;kdekoho. V\u00a0roce 1919 si zalo\u017eil hudebn\u00ed vydavatelstv\u00ed, k\u00a0jeho\u017e produkci pat\u0159ily pr\u00e1v\u011b ti\u0161t\u011bn\u00e9 let\u00e1kov\u00e9 texty jeho p\u00edsni\u010dek s\u00a0notovou osnovou a&nbsp;ilustrac\u00ed. P\u0159\u00edb\u011bhov\u00e9 kuplety, lyrick\u00e9 p\u00edsni\u010dky i&nbsp;kra\u0165ounk\u00e9 pop\u011bvky, kter\u00e9 zazn\u011bly v\u00a0r\u00e1mci divadeln\u00edho p\u0159edstaven\u00ed nebo kabaretn\u00edho v\u00fdstupu. Ha\u0161ler byl toti\u017e n\u00e1zorov\u011b sp\u00ed\u0161e pravicov\u011b zalo\u017een\u00fd, za prvn\u00ed republiky komunisty satiricky napadal a&nbsp;po\u00fanorov\u00e1 selekce na um\u011blce pokrokov\u00e9 a&nbsp;reak\u010dn\u00ed mu to spo\u010d\u00edtala. Na druhou stranu mnoho jeho p\u00edsni\u010dek zlidov\u011blo tak, \u017ee vymazat ho z\u00a0pam\u011bti lid\u00ed ne\u0161lo. A&nbsp;ne\u0161lo zaml\u010det ani fakt, \u017ee za Rakouska-Uherska byl otev\u0159en\u011b protirakousk\u00fd a&nbsp;za protektor\u00e1tu se neb\u00e1l vlastenecky vystupovat, zat\u00edmco jin\u00ed se u\u017e b\u00e1li. Co\u017e mu nakonec p\u0159ivodilo uv\u011bzn\u011bn\u00ed v\u00a0koncentr\u00e1ku. S\u00a0\u0161edes\u00e1t\u00fdmi lety p\u0159i\u0161lo politick\u00e9 uvoln\u011bn\u00ed a&nbsp;Ha\u0161lerova osobnost byla zase znovu a&nbsp;\u010dast\u011bji vzpom\u00edn\u00e1na. Dokonce i&nbsp;v\u00a0Klubu Vy\u0161\u0161\u00edho vojensk\u00e9ho u\u010dili\u0161t\u011b ve Vy\u0161kov\u011b pro\u0161lo jak\u00e9musi Radom\u00edru Jedli\u010dkovi vzpom\u00ednkov\u00e9 kulturn\u00ed p\u00e1smo o&nbsp;Karlu Ha\u0161lerovi. P\u0159esto se asi musel p\u0159i&nbsp;zd\u016fvod\u0148ov\u00e1n\u00ed sv\u00e9 akce p\u0159ed politruky trochu zapotit.
